IAPS is a VPN provider who is focusing on unblocking online TV. This is reflected in their package names: American TV, Australian TV ,British TV, Canadian TV ,French TV, German TV, Irish TV, Italian TV, Switzerland TV.
The company itself is located in Delaware in the US and their servers are hosted in very fast hosting environments around the world and as a result you will be geared for streaming online TV using the IAPS service. Video streaming is one of the most bandwidth intensive use case scenarios and as such you will not be disappointed with IAPS.
IAPS Servers
With servers located in 80 countries and protocols such as PPTP, L2TP/IPSec and SSTP IAPS VPN has a wide offering. You wont get access to all locations however, as they have created packages with regions on mind.
IAPS Performance
Optimized for watching video on demand IAPS has a fast backend capable of streaming the most bandwidth intensive applications. We had good throughput on the American TV package that we tried out and buffering and quality was acceptable.
IAPS Compatibility
IAPS support a wide range of protocols so there is an option for all devices including mobiles, iPad and tablets.
Conclusion on the IAPS Review
If you don't mind buying access to one country at a time and if you will be using your VPN connection for video streaming then IAPS is a good choice for you. As we have said before in our reviews we are not a fan of the complexe package options found with certain VPN providers and IAPS is one of those. The many options makes the buying process less transparent for the user. That said go for the American TV package if you want to watch US TV abroad. The speed and specs are good.
