As Versa VPN is a relatively unknown brand we were excited to take a closer look at the service. Versa VPN was formerly known as Hyper VPN. The service is well rounded and even has support for dedicated IP-addresses albit this option can become a bit pricy.
Versa VPN Servers
Versa VPN supports all the common protocols such as PPTP, L2TP and Openvpn. The servers are located in 7 different countries and share 42 different IP's.
Versa VPN Performance
The speed and performance was pretty normal. Nothing spectacularly fast, nor anything seriously slow. I guess the right term to use here is "average".
Versa VPN Compatibility
Versa VPN works with Windows, Linux, MAC, Android, iPhone, DD-WRT Router, Xbox and PS3. Basically the wide variety of protocols supported gives a steady foundation that supports just about any device under the sun. We do like that they support P2P traffic judging from the fact that they show the Kickass Torrents logo.
Conclusion on the Versa VPN Review
All in all a good service. The fact that the custom app only works on Windows is a little disappointing. Mac users will have to use the build in VPN client of OS X, which although good lacks some of the features of a custom VPN application.
